Donate blood, save lives!

This was an awareness week at NOA, so with the help of the Albanian Red Cross we became aware of the great need for blood in society, and specifically in a very vulnerable community such as that of thalassemia children. In support of them, this summer season where the demands are high and the voluntary donation is low, we organized to give some hope for these sick children.

With one unit of blood, each of us can save three lives and evoke thousands of smiles. We do not know of any other human act that can generate so much by giving so little.
