Farmer for a Day – in Korça

With the initiative “Farmer for a day”, this time we went to Zvirina of Korça, one of the villages with the most hardworking people in Albania.

We, the “apple specialists”, helped Llambi to spread the branches of apple trees in the “palmette” system. Llambi and his family helped us to understand some techniques for increasing the yield of apples, such as spreading the branches, but also introduced us to the great effort and care needed to grow them. At the end of the day, we donated some equipment to assist the farmer with farm and warehouse work. Thank you Llambi for the hospitality, and may you have a prosperous season!
